I don't want to hijack the thread but interestingly the main battery in my 2013 V60 has started dropping voltage.. down from 12.8 after a run to 12.3 after 36 hours.
Is the support battery charged from the main battery connection or is it charging in parallel with the main ? |

Update changed the support battery coupole of days ago, its a bit of a pain due to limited access and the angle the battery needs inserting at. I had my neighboure act as a 2nd pair of hands. I didn't completely remove the scuttle panel just released enough pins to lift it enough for access. If using a aftermarket supoort battery replacement the terminals have nuts that need to be placed carefully under to tighten the teminal bolts to so do it on a flat surface (not a inclined driveway like me) and have a extendable magnet handy.
P.S. I didn't touch the main battery so managed to do it withiout having to pull the terminal but made shure I isolated the support battery cables as soon as I removed them to prevent shorting.
