  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

me too, I've been putting in 0/30 and if 0/20 is better for mpg that would definitely be a bonus. but mines a 2001

Cars of this era do not take 0w20 oil... I'm sorry, that's just *****

The newer VEA engines do, but this car in question doesn't have a VEA engine.

Stick with what your owners manual says or the sticker in the engine bay on the slam panel over the headlights. I guarantee it doesn't say 0w20 in an older D5 or even an older petrol engine.

I think Clan has made a mistake.

0w20 as an oil grade was only launched in 2006, and we know that the original D5 predates that by at least 2 centuries

Disappointed Clan that you've not been back on thread to correct the record when you've been on the Forum since several of us posted in response to you stating 0w/20.
