Just an update. So I replaced the exhaust sensor on Friday to see if it was a quick fix but still had the engine light stay on took it for a drive and within 5 mins limp mode activated luckily I was still in small roads and could get home. As it’s the weekend and I work nights haven’t been able to get it looked at so today I’m going to call someone to have the dpf cleaned and go from there. I would try and take it for a better look at but I desperately need the car for this weekend and I’m due to fly out to Vegas on the 2nd of August. So I need a quick fix even it’s temporary until I get home from my holiday which then I can spend some money and get it properly looked at
Soooo not looking great at the moment |

Further update
Had a dpf cleaner come out he ran his diagnostic computer and found he wasn’t getting a reading from the exhaust pressure sensor. Turns out one of the pipes has completely broken but the protective mesh around the pipe was hiding the break. I’m not hoping a new set of pipes is going to solve my problem |

these pipe splits have been covered in previous dpf posts and nearly always hiding inside the woven protective cover it worth going back in the forum to view if anyone else has had similar experience im fairly sure the new pipes will solve the problem if everything else is in order. post back with any results
