Wheel scrubbing
Morning everyone,
My left hand wheel is scrubbing the wheel arch on full lock right, I've attached some pictures. Any ideas? All standard as far as I'm aware. Cheers, Swede steed |

The steering lock stops are worn, sometimes you can change them over from the opposite side by turning them upside down but it depends how bad they are. New ones are available from Volvo, aftermarket ones are also available

Smashing. I saw there looked flat but didn't know if that's how they were supposed to be. I'll get them changed. Thanks

Mine were worn and I could have got away with swapping them over
However I opted for new ones

be aware that there are 3 different thickness dependant on which wheels/tyres are fitted.. check the control arm bushes for wear this can also make wheels rub

It should not fail the MOT for this, that is why the metal rubbing plates are there.
