Default V60 D5 Timing Belt question

Hey. So the time has come to change the timing belt on my 2011 V60 2.4 D5. I’ve found a few threads / vids of them being done and they look a straightforward belt however I noticed none of these were V60’s. They were all 70’s or XC’s.

My question is has anyone on here done a D5 belt on the V60? What’s access like? It looks tight but ok once the upper mount is removed.

The only other question is I’ve read that Volvo dont advise doing the water pump. That’s a foreign concept to me. Any reasons why they don’t change them?

Thanks.
