IPhone 7 volume low when connected to car. Solved!
Been bugging me since I got the car.
It’s nothing to do with the car. It’s the phone. Solved by doing the following. Connect the phone to a separate Bluetooth speaker or headphones. Turn the volume down on the speaker then use the volume controls on the phone to turn it back up. Mine is on max volume. Disconnect the Bluetooth connection and switch off the speaker. Go to the car and try to make a call. Hey presto you can hear the caller. By the way, I also selected Night Music in the equaliser settings against music in the phone, but I don’t think this makes much difference. Try it if you like. |

Turn the car radio volume up whilst making the call, the car remembers the setting.

Yes you are correct - its annoying and only seems to do it on the V40. But like you say, you have to turn up the Bluetooth volume on your phone.
