That's not how the website works.
There are 25 (taxed) cars registered by DVLA as '406 Coupe'.
There are a further 31 registered as '406 2.0 Coupe'.
And a further 1 registered as '406 2.0 Auto Coupe', and 27 '406 Coupe S'.
Just going from those numbers, we therefore know there are at least 84 Peugeot 406 coupes still registered and currently taxed. Plus all the other variants I didn't bother to type out (3.0, etc etc).
When a vehicle is registered, the model name is whatever someone happened to type or write on the form that day.
The computer doesn't know that a 406 2.0 coupe would also be classed as a 406 coupe.
