I've put in a request to have the sales thread modified so sellers have to conform to certain criteria before placing a sale, and to try and prevent extraneous posting. Jon. |

Cut 'Rule414' some slack, he's a new member and probably a bit new to the internet. You guys were noobs once, remember?

If the changes are made and they should be, the sales posted should be of a higher quality, and will benefit sellers and potential buyers alike. However I think my comment about extraneous posts is a valid one. Jon. 700/900 Register Keeper VOC. |

Don't really understand why if you were advised not to sell for less than £2,500 and valued the person giving this advice, and put it in your advert, you would be asking £1,900 ono! Bit contradictory.
Looks like a nice car but being a 2L GL I wouldn't think its worth any more than £1500 to be realistic. |

It does look a nice car especially in that colour as it's a bit different to the normal gold's or silvers.
Some better pictures showing the engine bay (original uncleaned says more that a squeaky clean one), some of the interior including condition of the seats, boot would help give a potential buyer more of an idea what the cars like before even seeing it. I assume that you bought it after it had been off the road since the date on the old tax disc. If it's been dry stored since then it ought to be in very good condition as even Volvos go rusty eventually ! Hope you get some interest. Last edited by Steve940estate; Mar 31st, 2015 at 10:53. |

Price lowered - £1600 ono
Yeah, think you guys are right about the valuation. I've dropped the price to £1600 or nearest offer. The car is beautiful and drives so well. If I had a garage I'd just mothball it for a few years and let it appreciate. I've tried to attach another photo to this post too, taken last week.
