V70 headlight motor removal
My nearside ( V70 D5 2004) headlight adjuster motor is not working & I would like to remove it for checking from the power feed of the other one.
I can rotate it like a bayonet fitting, but I'm reluctant to pull on it for removal. Is this the correct way of removing the motor? I hope you don't have to remove the complete headlight assembly!! Thanks, Dave |

The motor rotates on a bayonet type fitting within the main moulding, easy enough to undo.
But, the white shaft is held onto a very strong clip attached to the reflector iirc. Takes quite a heave to pull it out and is bit of a pig to get back in.
