Default volvo nuts and bolts

is there any difference in buying things like replacement nuts and bolts from volvo or buying cheaper parts on ebay / online?

as i have been stripping down my car i have noticed a lot of the bolts being removed are in a bad way, and shouldnt really go back on the car.

the reason i ask is i dont want to waste money on something like this, but i also dont want to be replacing them any time soon!

cheers.

Some bolts will be Volvo only but most can be replaced with generic bolts. You do need to make sure you get the right grade. Things like caliper bolts are 12.9 and a lot of suspension bolts are at least 10.9's. The most common bolts available are only 8.8 and no use in high stress areas. Un maked bolts are weaker again and not much use for anything
