'Bendy' Bi-Xenon lamps, how to remove?
Over in the S40 forum, members have been taking their projector headlamps apart and cleaning the dulling film from the glass lens to improve light output....
I'd like to do this on my S60 as the cut-off is not as crisp as it should be, however mine has Bi-xenon's that turn as you steer so I'm worried about breaking them during removal. Has anyone attempted this before on the Active Bi-xenon models? If so, is there anything to watch out for? |

Hi,
Please let me know if there is any company or member that managed to clean the lens without removing the front panel of the headlamps? I managed to get all 3 screws but nothing else so loose complete part with lens and bulb was not possible to remove from the lens. Please any hints or suggestions? 1magmike@gmail.com
