IMG_20161008_134105_scaled.jpg I could see around the left-most injector (looking into the bonnet from the front of the car) looked a lot damper, and there seemed to be a little diesel pooled in the recess around it. I tightened it up, there just seemed a bit of movement, as best I could, will keep an eye on it to see if it's cleared it up. |

Just as further feedback to this, and managing to slightly tighten the left-most injector union, I also dried up any diesel in the channel on top of the head. Around a week on and over 600 miles later, it looks even drier, and I've not noticed any evidence of smoke, so that seems to have fixed it.
