S40: Instrument bulbs

Can anyone tell me what type of bulbs do i need to get for my instrument panel, I'm starting to loose loads of lights.
I won't buy them from main dealer as they want stupid money for them, also people say you can replace them with LED if so what type of fitting as there are loads of types.?
my volvo is a :-1.9d SE 2003 four door saloon.

I know the bulb types, for what do you need? ECC, Onboard computer or speedometer?

So for the Light switches on your right side you want to install 3x T4 (Neo Wedge)

For the ECC there are 3x custom made bulbs by Volvo, haven't find anything that's similar, however I've tried with T4 there as well and those fit but they aren't as long as the original ones (http://imgur.com/a/8lPSx)

Since they are shorter, they wont light up as good as original bulbs.
