I’ve got a S60R and thinking of getting rid of the spare tyre.
Anyone know if it’s possibel to use tyre inflation kit instead or will it ruin the AWD system? KR Henrik |

95% sure that S60R is 100% similar to V70R which I have with regard to the operation of the AWD. So short answer is yes you can.
Longer answer is I would not want to do so. Tyre inflator kits are fine for small punctures but are useless after you have driven 100yds on the rim and cut the tyre wall cos you realised too late the puncture had occurred. I remember heavy rain, dark road in the middle of nowhere and no mobile signal and I really appreciated the space saver spare in the boot. - A puncture repair kit would not have got me home. Thanks, I'll probably keep the spare tyre.
