[QUOTE=Clan;2565911]The confusion is due to the fact not many people know that you have a Mitsubishi Gearbox to match the Mitsubishi GDI engine in your 1.8i badged S40
AHA! thank you its petrol/gasoline (forgot to put) so i take it thats for both petrol and diesel? well here is what i found with said product code given it is yellow but does that make any difference? https://www.autodoc.co.uk/febi-bilstein/7019451 found it £15 cheaper here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1x-1Ltr-M...UAAOSwmYta-u0z many thanks Jason Last edited by nokinnikon; Oct 25th, 2019 at 14:54. |

it is of course fuel injected etc but no GDI. if i could upload an image on here i would happily provide said pix. but alas i have no site to give you a link to. FYI lakes autos is a mecca for spare volvo parts does mail order or you can go down and do it the old fashion way and retrieve said needed off the car itself. http://www.lakes4volvo.co.uk/ the link for those that dont know about them. OK so you have the volvo engine and M56 gearbox which should have a 1.8 badge in the back , 1,8 i is for the GDI . you will need THIS oil below : 31280771 1 litre bottle 31280772 4 litre bottle This oil is fully synthetic transmission oil for manual gearboxes with excellent shifting and synchronising properties at all temperatures, especially at low temperatures. Being a low friction oil, the temperature in the transmission is reduced. Viscosity is low, which means reduced fuel consumption which in turn means less environmental impact. The oil is recommended for all model years of type M65 (5-speed with 6-cyl. engine), M66, MTX75 and MMT6 and of the type M56, M58 and M59 from and including model year 1996. Technical data Quality: API GL-4 Ford specification WSS-M2C200-D2 Viscosity: SAE 75W Color: Brown Density: 852 kg/m³ Base: Synthetic base oil Lowest flow point -54°C Viscosity at +40°C: 32 mm² /s Viscosity at +100°C: 6.4 mm² /s
