As the title suggests? Given the growth in Volvo Hybrids I would think there is need for a Hybrid section, to share info as well as tech queries. For example - recommendations on best 'App' for finding charging points, accessories such as extension charging cables along with generic tech issues.

Many parameters in Volvo V60 D6 PHEV can be read with Car Scanner app. Might be useful in monitoring the hybrid drive's condition: hybrid battery's actual SOC, HV system current, diesel engine's mileage vs. total mileage, DPF soot, etc. And - unlike Vida2014 - app can read 2015+ cars.
It can also read the SOC and HV current in T8 cars in SPA platform. ![]() Last edited by piotrek; Jun 18th, 2020 at 16:32. |

A hybrid section in discussions would be good.
I have been looking for advice about the possibility of using the PHEV hybrid battery for powering equipment while camping. I found that the UK Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has this capability with a 240VAC socket in the cargo bay: https://www.mitsubishicars.com/outla...ower-on-the-go No hybrid Volvo seems to have this feature and I guess it would be tricky (dangerous?) to do it with aftermarket devices. |
