S60 2.0t LPG intermittent misfire issues
Hi all. I've been pointed this way from my thread here: https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=328933
Essentially, I have a 120k mile Volvo S60 2.0t which has had an LPG conversion since 2009 and 35,000 miles. I have an issue with an irregular misfire at idle, and positive STFT and LTFT readings (circa +20-odd combined). The car behaves in this way when running on petrol OR LPG - it's exactly the same either way. The consensus on the main forum is that the LPG system will have 'dried out' my engine. Readings from the MAF and O2 sensor all look good, and I'm not getting any blue smoke / oil consumption. Is the 2.0t 5 cylinder engine ok to run on LPG long term? |

Does the OBD come up with a cylinder the misfire is on or does it say random misfire?
Are the correct spark plugs fitted. You want a single prong plug (not the petrol twin prong plug) and never a Brisk LPG plug Coil packs are a common problem and would be my first suspect if it is showing a single cylinder |
