New seatbelt buckle has affected electrics (heating & lights
Hi
We got our passenger seatbelt buckle replaced with a new one-(local garage did it but it was a simple plug in job) on our '06 XC70. When I picked it up I noticed the heater/fans/aircon console has been affected-lights are all constantly on, of all go off if I press one button. Then this weekend realised that the headlamps are now very dull. Has anyone any experience of something like this?? Obviously the garage need to sort but to be fair its not like they rewired anything, just plugged a new component in! Tia |

Check that none of the connectors under the seat are damaged/dislodged. There's a lot of CANBUS connections down there, and a bad connection can cause all sorts of weirdness in these cars.
