Volvo Selekt car comes with free full service or not?
Hi all,
I have a car from my signature, bought in February. I was told by the dealership contact who sold me the car, that full service cost is included with one of the insurance/warranty products, just like MOT guarantee is, I remember it supposed to be 2 or 3 years, but I don't remember which alleged product it supposed to be on. Now the time has come for annual service, because the last one was done in June last year on this car. So I am looking through my insurance products and I can't find it anywhere. I don't know if my local Volvo service will know anything about it when I call, or they will quote me a full price? Anyone has made a similar purchase of used Volvo recently and can help? Am I wrong to assume that full service cost is included? That's what I was told. Insurance/contract products I have are: Volvo Selekt Under 2/60K Volvo MOT Insurance GAP insurance Excess Return Voucher AutoTrust Tyre Insurance AutoTrust Cosmetic Warranty AutoTrust Alloy Wheel Insurance AutoTrust and GAP are additional products I've purchased, and I already use one of them - Alloy Whell insurance, scratched alloys on the kerb and week after it was like new again, so definitely happy with this product. But I don't know where to find that full service discount. Thanks in advance.

Going through documents.
So Volvo Selekt Owners Handbook says: Quote:

I think it depends on the offer available when you purchased it. Mine bought in May this year came with 2 years free servicing, 2 years warranty, 2 years MOT test cover and 2 years roadside assistance (this was a Volvo Finance offer). The minimum with Selekt should be 12 months warranty. I guess asking the dealer who sold you the car is probably easier.

you will see that IF a service is due within 6 months it will be included in the SELECK check over.

....unless you're in the UK where the service period is a penny-pinching THREE MONTHS, not 6 as it used to be !!!
section 6 of the attached.....unbelievable penny pinching |
