Car seems to have developed a routine ‘popping’ noise when turning, straightening up, hitting a pot hole or speed bump etc.

I say developed because it’s always done it on occasion but now routinely doing it, and more obvious.

Anyone else had this.?

No but mine is in today for a creaking from the rear suspension. Tech said it’s very common that the black sleeves over the piston stick to the body of the shock and can make weird noises so you could very well have the same issue as me albeit different symptoms

I took delivery of my MY22.5 XC60 PE Extended Range last week and so far the new drivetrain in the car is superb compared to my previous MY20 XC60 PE.
However, one of the biggest changes I have felt is with the Ohlins suspension feel and settings. The new car seems to have a much more comfortable ride than with my earlier car and due to this, I am having to use much harder setting on the dampers (currently running setting 4 all around) to get the same handling and body roll feel I had on my old car at setting 6 or 7. Even with such a hard damper setting, the new car still rides much better than the old one, much less fidgety over the bumps.
It seems that Volvo/Polestar have continued development of the cars suspension setup alongside the rest of the car which is good to see.

Interesting, mine is back at the dealers for a few days for them to try and work out what the creaking is but it seems they can’t work it out which is annoying. If it is the shocks, I wonder if they are reluctant to replace as I’d imagine they aren’t cheap!

Hi there..

Running a MY21 s60 PE with the suspension set at 12 front and 15 rear - which gives a much more compliant ride without any material reduction is handling.
