Default Replacing wishbone V70 2003

Hello everyone, obviously a newbie in a pickle.

mechanic managed to change the front right wishbone , however one screw of the left is quite rusted away and will not come out.

any hint, trick, wisdom that he and me are missing?

any help greatly appreciated.

Lots of help on you tube..nothing specific IIRC to V70 wishbones. Fallback to soaking with penetrative oil, heat,cycling, hitting it with a hammer to shock it, use of extractor sockets, and failing all that weld a nut through the centre onto the damaged bolt head. - that works with stuck locking wheel nuts.

Depending on which bolt, access and what size cutting tools you have at your disposal don't forget you can also just cut it off . Carefully

Sounds like you can do with a new one anyway

Speaking of. Which bolt? The vertical one at the back, or one of the two that go in from under the engine. Those two will be harder to get a new one in bear that in mind before committing

if its a nut a nut splitter may work. its all dependant on where the bolt /nut is located can you post a pic for more clarity lots of folk here who would give instruction on how to proceed.
