hi, iv just joined and last week bought a 2007 v70 d5 with one key,(silly me). i cant get anyone to make me a new key, they say dealer only? help.

There are very few independents who can do a spare key but finding them is almost impossible. There is one based in the Ayrshire coast who is Volvo registered but that's a long way from South Shields

look for an independant who has a genuine vida subscription. this is needed to enable the garage to program add and delete lost or missing keys shop around as prices can vary from garage to garage it some times more cost effective to travel to a further away independant. also be aware that the car needs to be present to programme keys to it . always book as they may need to order in the correct style of key. hope this help you..

vida? so thats what i have to look for in their add. thanks, bit of a nightmare just for a key. im retired and £400+ is a lot. thanks for the advice.
