Engine: 70 T5: Help identifiying knocking

I've recently bought her, she hasnt done many miles over the last few years. I need to do an oil change but took it for a half hour drive with a friend giving it some beans every now an then (engine all warmed up nicely) I could not hear knocking whilst driving but when we got back after idleing for a few seconds the knocking noise appered. After a minute it dissapered, i managed to film it but didnt rev to see if it increased frequncey. After a gentle 10 min drive home it didnt do it again.

I should get someone to look at the camshaft followers and get them to check the valve clearances first.

Certainly sounds metallic from here so would be a good idea to get the cam belt cover off for a look see and check the screws holding the cam sprockets haven't come loose and also check the roller for the cambelt isn't "chirping" which can happen when the engine reaches normal operating temperature.

I could be wrong but it does sound like a lifter. It may not have necessarily failed. There is an o-ring in the sump pan that feeds oil to the lifters which is known to fail in time and the first indication is the lifters struggle to pump up at low rpm. I'd be tempted to change that before splitting the cam cover. If it's possible an oil pressure reading would be telling.
