Default Crank no start... any advice?

Hi there everyone.

My 1978 245 wagon is cranking but won't start. It's had the issue for a while (a couple months) but I could usually get it to start eventually. It would start and then die immediately, start and die, etc etc, but if it stayed running long enough I could give it enough gas to get a stable idle and then it would run good- no issues while driving. It would also start up easier once the engine was warmed up. I assumed it was the cold start injector so I put it off because it was about to be summer here anyway. Now it's over 100F here and it cranks but just wont start. Something finally gave out but I don't know what it could be. Fuel pump was recently replaced, battery and starter are new. Tried with starter fluid and nothing. Any ideas?
