Default Damage from hit and run

Hello everyone.
I am going out on a really random limb here trying to see if the power of social media might work.
A white XC90 crashed into our son in laws car on the 29th May, driven by we think our neighbour, and promptly drove off. This occured near Newton Aycliffe in County Durham. The damage bill including courtesy car is now around £3000...
All knowledge has been denied by our neighbour and video footage does not show a registration number.
This particular XC90 has 10 spoke alloys and a panoramic sunroof, we have no idea how old but it looks newish.
We think this car was not in the owners possesion at the time and could have been booked into a garage having work done and our neighbour just used it...
The XC90 will have had damage to the rear offside bumper.
So does anyone know anyone who knows anyone who might have a white XC90 with 10 spoke alloys and a panoramic roof that might have been in a garage somewhere in County Durham on 29th May which suffered damage/some story given about damage given to the rightful owners?
I appreciate this is really random and the epitomy of clutching at straws but you never know.
By the way, the police won't help incase you're wondering.
Many thanks in advance
