Default Handheld OBD car de reader recommendations

Hi All,

Google is not my friend and searching this forum hasn't helped...

Anyone had good experience with a obd code reader (one with P3 Volvo specific features)? I'm a long way from a dealer or a specialist.

I know "vida/dice" is the best solution but, I'm looking for something handy I can leave in the car. Something that can do a bit more than a cheap elm327 obd reader and a free app on phone. I'm hoping to do P3 Volvo specific things like EPB, TPS, oil change, battery reset etc.and etc.

I have my eye on an "Autophix 7110" or an "Ancel VOD700". Both around £90 on EvilBay.'

I've had good results in this price range with code reader with BMW specific functions....

Thanks in advance
Mark

The Topdon Topscan is a very good reader. It s a dongle that plugs into the OBD socket and you read the codes from your phone. There are two flavours. The £50 or £100 one. The more you pay, the more you can do like code injectors etc. I have the £50 one and found it extremely handy.
