Centre Console gone Dark

Hi all,

Does anyone have any ideas / tips how to approach this.

Last week the centre console which controls the radio, A/C, heated seats, etc… just went dark.

I’ve checked a couple of fuses which seem as ok. But again, I’m not sure which control this section.

After a bit of research, it seems that my CCM (climate control module) is having issues.

I've contacted Volvo who would likely recommend a replacement for £1,200 plus labor

Some recommend changing out the thermistor (not thermostat), behind the mini grill in the CCM.

Others have suggested finding a CCM with the same model number but I think i'll struggle as it's a Japanese import.

So my plan is to remove the dash trim;

Buy a CCM with as close a number as possible and switch out the Thermistor.
