S60 - last year of UK manufacture / reg?
A family member wants to replace her aging 2004 S60 with the latest version made of that car. Were cars of 2009 MY produced and sold in the UK (so could I find a petrol or diesel 2010 reg car?). Thanks

Yes, there was a 2009 MY:
https://www.media.volvocars.com/uk/e...releases/16388 The last P2 S60 was built on March 31, 2009 - therefore it's likely there's only a very small number of UK cars on an 09-plate. It seems quite implausible there'd be one on a 10 or even a 59, short of a "late registration madness" case or a dealer buying stock they couldn't shift. From that end of production press release, it appears 6,205 cars were built in 2009 (for all markets, not just UK). As the run-out year, for 2009 prices dropped, the engine line-up was restricted (2.0T, 2.4D, or D5), the options list was hugely condensed, and more was thrown in as standard to use the parts up. Here's the 2009 price list.
