road tax can be high on the t5 and a little thirsty. d4 or d5 would be my preferred choice its all good info but the final decision is yours. hope you find a suitable car..

Tax is definitely punchy on a T5!! Certainly thirsty, but my annual mileage will be low, so minimal impact. May be moot as not many T5 options, plus I've driven a few D3 models and they pack plenty of punch for me and actual sound rather pleasant! Appreciate the advice. Do you/did you have a C70? Any major woes?

some of the things iv encountered in our 7 yrs of ownership are broken front spring. egr valve failure .rear top shock mounts broke a common on c70s thing. exhaust holed but it was the original from new replaced all shock absorbers at 130k cambelt and all anciarys replace at 100k
