Advice on V60 T8 Polestar Engineered '21 - High mileage
Hi there. New to the forum so please, go easy!
I've been eyeing up a second hand T8 for some time now and one has recently popped up in my area that's caught my eye. 2021 (70 plate) V60 Polestar Engineered which looks stunning. 1 owner but has high mileage of 93000 for £20k. Can anyone provide some advice on whether I should even contemplate this? I've tried to do my research on the T8 models and read about the ERAD issues which has put doubt in my mind but can't seem to see if this is still an issue with a 2021 model. At 93000 I guess at this age will mainly be motorway miles. Is this good or bad for this type of engine? I'm guessing the warranty is long gone for this mileage also? I currently have a Skoda Octavia VRS diesel and my current job / situation just doesn't require the miles I used to do to warrant a diesel. The T8 looks like it ticks the boxes of being economical running errands around town but also allowing me to get that kick from putting my foot down when I want a bit of fun. S60 / V60's seem to be a bit of a rarity in my area so seeing this come up, I feel I need to take a look. Any advice / experience / guidance would be appreciated! Thanks |
