If you use the support site and search using the VIN number of your car, the correct information should come up, including the location of the button for the fuel flap release. Amazed this was not pointed out at car handover.

Just to confirm the specifics of my previous post, my invoice from five years ago (2019) lists "Full Owners Manual" at £20.83, which with VAT at 20% added a further £4.17 bringing the total cost up to exactly (and not just around) £25.00. So far, far, far less than today's "mere £80" mentioned by Wizzpop!

And this is what my £25.00 bought me five years ago: Owner's Manual, Supplement to Owner's Manual, and Quick Guide...with the Owner's Manual being a chunky tome coming in at 672 pages plus the outer and inner front and back cover four pages.

It's unusual that the app looks different on different cars for something as simple as a link to Volvo's network to display a user manual. I could understand app features missing because of Sensus / AAOS or ICE / Recharge, but a User Manual is surely something a bit more basic?

When taking the screenshots below, I noticed that I could scroll down to the bottom of the car menu, I either didn't know that or had forgotten. Well at the bottom there is also a link to the User Manual.

It doesn’t makes sense to have app differences across the various models.
I find the app underwhelming anyway but it was useful for the manual, which seems to be no more. Let’s hope it’s temporary.

Using Google on these cars has a lot of advantages of providing a seamless ecosystem.
If only there was a WhatsApp or iMessage app for the car.

There's a send to car function on Google.

Your phone and car need to be logged into the same Google account.

You search the destination on the phone and when you start navigation on the phone an option to send to the car appears.

When you get in the car you have about 30 seconds after the prompt appears on the screen to confirm you want to go to the destination though after which it disappears.

The sensus system was better.

The voice to text for SMS though is better on ASOS.

Swings and roundabouts the two systems.
