940 - Drivers seatbelt

Hi to All. My driver's seatbelt will not retract into its holder anymore and my garage have advised I buy a whole new replacement. I've seen a second hand one at £50 but am wondering whether I should buy one new or indeed, if they can still be bought. I am just about to check this out.
