Brilliant service
What fantastic service - quick, effective and accommodating, and great value. This guy really knows the electronic side of Volvos and I highly recommend him.

V70 problem
Quote:
I'm a new member here.. I've tried to read a lot of posts, but couldn't find the answer for my question. I bought a 1999 V70 2.4L turbo wagon, and the engine light is on. (distributorless ignition) Only four cylinders are running. I've changed the spark plugs and the ignition coils (only one was bad). All these things couldn't solve the problem. Spark plugs are good, the compression is good as well. I've took out the E.C.U, and cleaned it, nothing has changed. Does anybody have any idea what the problem could be with my engine? The service code is P0302. Thanks http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=169480 Thank you all |

I've just had my V70 DIM repaired by Lukas. Great price, fast service and he was kind enough to answer some technical questions that I had afterwards.
If you have a DIM issue, this is probably the best route forward. |

another thumbs up
Another thumbs up from me - etm fault, refurbished unit returned to Belfast, no daft postage fees which some companies charge. I still had a few issues, Lukas exchanged the unit without a quibble. Excellent service!

Bit of a noobie question this but... if I have a 1999 2.4 petrol non turbo C70 with the ETS light on, and its an issue with the throttle body, the £110 fix quoted on the first page (ETM) will be suitable for my model (assuming the fault is indeed with the throttle body not somewhere else in the system)?

Hi Spokoluzig.
My SRS module (2001 v70 p2, B5244S non-turbo engine, no sun roof) will not reset old stored codes, can you help? If it can't be repaired is a used one reprogrammable by Volvo? Thanks. |

I used a Vida/Dice, couldn't reset the stored codes (problem is fixed and current cycle is always green), and I also took the car to my local Volvo dealer and they couldn't reset it either. They also tried disconnecting the battery for over half an hour, but that also didn't work.
