It's booked in at my dad's favourite garage for the 4th, I'll ask them to look into some slight vibration at higher speeds too. Should just need wheels rebalancing.

bryn motors come highly recommended. wigan isn't really very far from manchester use aa route finder for directions and mileage info but as you say stockport is much nearer halmark also come highly recommended you will need to book as they are always busy.
