It's booked in at my dad's favourite garage for the 4th, I'll ask them to look into some slight vibration at higher speeds too. Should just need wheels rebalancing.

That's correct.

Your profile says you're based in Manchester. Just in case you weren't aware, here's some very good Volvo specialists in the area that I know of (independent garages, not main dealers). Reasonable prices and they know these cars inside out.

Thanks for the info, Stockport is my neck of woods so I'll be sure to visit Hallmark should I need to. The garage my S40 was sold at and went for servicing was Bryn Motor Company Ltd., would have been nice too keep it there too, but Wigan is a bit of a trek.

bryn motors come highly recommended. wigan isn't really very far from manchester use aa route finder for directions and mileage info but as you say stockport is much nearer halmark also come highly recommended you will need to book as they are always busy.
