Hi all
Not easy are they? Taking the old ones off wasn't too bad but to push the new (tight) hoses onto the pipes was a tricky business. I did wrap the hose to the head with insulation tape just at the point it goes over the dipstick bracket, just to prolong its life a bit. Now just the rear of front wishbone bushes to do. I'm going to use polybush for those. Thanks again for all your help and advice. ![]()

Hi Cliiford
Yes I agree but when space is so limited that trying to push it on is a difficulty, then no amount of hot water will help - only making it worse as the pipe is now hot to handle! Anyway it's now all done and running again. Many thanks

Agreed ......... and as you say approximately in your next post in this thread ......... access is not superb. It's not easy to grip the hoses or to find where they fit. LOL P.S. If I remember correctly, the hoses are shaped, so perhaps one should be able to fit them to avoid the dipstick &c.? |
