What are these "hooks" (pic attached)?

I just randomly ran across this on an official Volvo website for my country, checking out the "official" equipment. On the photo for rubber floor mats there are clearly visible the same two brackets I asked about, so that makes me think it's related to some option or another.

Whom could I ask? Someone at Volvo perhaps (I tried looking but couldn't find an email address to send the pic and question to)

To answer my own question, if anyone else is curious: it was (is?) an option you could chose to have from factory - those are hooks for child's seat anchoring when it sits in passenger's seat.

Really? That's good to know.

In both Volvos that I had, and were previously company cars, those were holding fire extinguishers. It was just convenient place to mount them, I guess...
