  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

I do think the 740/760 940 saloon do look better than the estate. I always think the boot is more practical for a big LPG tank conversion. Like the styling of the saloon.

Headliner drooping. My 1986 740 did the same! Believe the back window is laminated glass rather than toughened. Presume bonded to give roof strength.

I have an estate due to being more practical.

Thanks James, yeah I've got no need for an estate and much prefer the look of the saloons, like a big swedish luxury barge where as the estates just look like a barge haha.

How dare you Sir! Volvo estates are the box they came in, as our American colony would put it.

Try putting an IKEA sofa into your saloon, or a complete, flat-pack kitchen.

I gave it a wash and the one wing badge fell off as I touched it 😂 so the other wing badge will be removed as I don't like them.

In general I prefer the look of the estates (I'm biased...!) but I must say yours does look the business.
