Mann is a great make so if it is one of those fitted, there shouldn't be an issue.
Your "miss" could equally be fuel or boost related.
Do you have any diagnostics to retrieve data?
Is yours a manual or auto?
The speed this happens could be the area of the torque converter locking up on an auto. Maybe an auto person could confirm.
Finally, when this happens, is your fuel at or below a particular level or is it at all fuel levels?

There is no errors on the car, it is a manual, as for fuel level i am not sure.
just to say again, after cruising you put your foot down (not a small amount), the car feels like a slight moment of lack of power then goes.
I do have a noisy injector, await a test to arrive.

If you are in a car park with the window open in 1st and you accellerate away, can you hear a hiss, and does it die away until it's totally gone at about 1800 rpm?

Now you come to think of it there is a noise that as you accelerate and decelerate sounds like a police siren, this has however died away to a very quite noise.

I'll try pulling away in the morning when i finish work

All I hear is a whine noise, it gets great with engine revs, I believe that it is the turbo.

Ok so it's quite likely your wastegate is staying closed, and/or your actuator is moving OK. Though you need to hear a few more V70's to get the comparison.

Ok, my colleague has a v70 d5 I'll have a listen to that.

Any other ideas? Going to test the injectors soon.
