I expect it will fail. Let's see how much it asks me to spend on it... [/QUOTE] Why expect the worst? The MoT history suggests it should go through fairly easily.

I'm looking forward to the MoT result, the car was conspicuous by its abscence last time i went to Ely recently. Curious to know the outcome!

I really like the 1UZ toyota/lexus v8.
That said, I've spoken to Martin and he has enlightened me as to how the B230 can be spiced right up with a big 'ole snail. Let's get it OTR for the next 12 months and then see what pocket money, love and respect for the vehicle remains. Cheers. F. |

Looking at the pictures the clean up must have been a challenge to state the obvious. Solid looking car and up close the practicality of Moth is amazing it's huge. I'm no car detailer but a little OCD and my advice although you have given it a good first pass on cleaning / hoovering, is if you can get your hands on a steam cleaner give the interior a blast. It kills any germs that you may have missed but also makes carpets / upholstery smell fresh again. I do the windows steering wheel gear stick roof liner the lot. Hope it gets through the MOT for you.
