I have a 0.8 bar one and thats to strong if your wanting to use the standard volvo boost controller.
I dont think anyone has the 0.6 bar one fitted going on replies so I'm going to test it myself. I will let you know if it works ok on the standard boost controller or not once it arrives. If it doesn't work then a like for like 0.3 bar standard one would be the best to go for. * UPDATE * Just checked my tracking and it should be delivered today so will fit tonight and let you know if a 0.6 bar works ok or not ![]() Last edited by djx11b; Dec 21st, 2012 at 08:39. |

You should try the fully adjustable one from Forge then it may not be a waste of money as in a fixed rated one!

Only thing is price with the forge I know it will be good as forge always is but £170 for a actuator is a bit steep.
My Japan actuator has been stopped at customs and they want to charge me to get it so worked out ok will be returned to sender and will get out a standard 0.3 bar one free of charge If I ever get some extra money might look at forge in the future ![]() |

Decided to just go for the 0.6 bar actuator due to time scales and remap i'm getting soon so i picked it up this afternoon from the depo just got it all fitted on when still warm not fun lol
![]() With the 0.6 bar it is spiking higher for a second than standard boost then settling to 0.9 bar all the way up to the red line. Hopefully over the next couple of days the ecu will reign the spikes in a bit but not to worried as getting a stage 2 mte remap so will be running 1.3 bar once that is on. Advice would be if you are keeping the car standard go for the 0.3 bar actuator If you are tuning it up a lot and looking to be running 1.2/1.3 upwards on a remap etc then 0.6 bar actuator should be ok but will spike on standard controller.
