Your symptom appears to be along the lines of what I have in my family V40. We also have a lot of air blowing, but you can tell if a sensor is not working because the car does not warm up well inside the cab on really cold days. Also, the air will still blow a lot... it just blows cooler from one side of the dash. When you have a faulty one, then it sticks on "cool". The air flow sensor's are electronic and regulate air temp into the cab from the dash sensor I was told. It may be the wiring junction has come off or grey corrosion resistance build up on the connection. It's not a big deal to leave it if you can stand it being chilly in the car occasionally. |
