they have better quality carbon potentiometers for the throttle plate position .

thanks Clan. Mine is an August 1998 car, but I can see my ETM has a yellow sticker. Would my car have originally come with a white sticker ETM, but its been changed subsequently for a yellow one?

What's wrong with the Sacer conversion? Did it on my last car, it's contact-less Hall-effect. Thus nothing to wear. Yes, it's the internet, but I'm sure I read the Yellow label are better, yet not that great. Yellow still fail?
Not sure if ETMs are a straight swap on 99, or later cars. Does anyone know?
