But recalls like this should be ongoing. Having just recently purchased an 07 plate XC90 and experiencing this judder, I think the previous owners did not receive this recall letter.
I have emailed Volvo an am awaiting their reply.

If you have not had the retaining bracket fitted use a tie wrap to fasten hose away from fan as a temporary fix, thats what Volvo did until the brackets were available. Check your pipe and fluid level. |

I would check with your dealer to see if the fix is applicable to your car , It was issued about 10 years ago so I guess most are done by now .

LATEST RECALL NOTICE - REPORTED IN THE MEDIA Fortunately my 2010 XC90 Exec doesn't seem to be one of them.
