Hi Driver246,
Good luck with your hunt for a 145, I eventually bought my project 145 this September, but it had taken me around 12-18 month's to find one. Hopefully your quest will be quicker, or perhaps I was just being fussy. https://www.carandclassic.com/l/C1674094 The one above is Worthing so not a million miles, although the photos indicate large areas of rust. I did drive down from Suffolk to Poole to pick up a 145 very similar to this one, but on arrival I walked round it as it was outside, and the amount of rust on it made me run away very quickly, despite losing van hire and one nights hotel costs. I was looking for circa £2-£3 k projects but seemed they are like the proverbial rocking horse poop, deep down I know I overpaid on mine but the interior was virtually complete. There are a couple of these Express models on eBay, but they’ve both been on there for years https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/145496664...Bk9SR8rqsfmbYw Good luck and keep us posted with how you get on. Oh, in the meantime, if you want a bit of inspiration you might want to check out Mitch’s (aka Burdekin) thread on an Amazon project, he also has I believe a 142?? But great source of knowledge on seemingly all things about old Volvos. https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showt...322616&page=25 Another thread by Juular on similar lines but on 240 https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=312429 Cheers Steve |

I have a 1 owner from new / original bill of sale 1970 model B20 145DL Manual Estate in Safari Yellow. I believe it is perhaps a '69 model, since it has the split rear side windows. It has been garaged since new - very original but will need some work. We've waited for probate who valued it at 8k. I am based in Essex. |
