Hi,
First post here, so forgive if this has already been covered - i couldnt find anything though. I've just got a volvo S60 and have got myself a parrot mki 9200 handsfree, bluetooth as a treat. It arrived this morning, with the lead (SOT 043). Blimey, theres a lot more wires than i was expecting:-( I managed to get the original head unit (HU803) out of the car, taking care not to disconnect the air con unit, but didnt know what cables went where - there are too many. Thinking about handing this over to a professional before I do any damage! Does anyone know of mobile installers that just do the installation in the cambridge area? Thanks Richard |

Your SOT lead should have four connectors similar to those on the back of the HU? The SOT fits between the HU and the cars wiring. Anything left is connections for the Parrot.
Getting everything back in to the space is quite fiddly, there isn't a lot of space to manoeuvre but it can be done with a little care. Otherwise not a difficult job, especially if you've already got the HU out. |

Already had the radio out on Sunday, but Parrot sent me the wrong cable. So I've got the SOT-043 as well. If you follow the cables out of the radio, in the top left, there should be some cables wrapped in foam. I believe you need to disconnect these two grey plugs, and insert the SOT cable in there. All the other cables attach to the Parrot kit. |
