Hi all,
I picked up a 2015 D5 a few months ago and it's a very capable car. Reading the manual, I understand that there are some useful driver assist functions that were optional extras at the time of order, but not selected for my vehicle. I wonder if they are present but disabled, however can be switched on by a garage with the right kit ? In particular, the Road Sign Information (RSI) system would be useful. Is there a way to activate this and any other hidden feature ? |

If your car has the camera in the wind shield, chances are it can be enabled. But it also relies on a few other things that I don't remember. You will need to use a 3rd party tool that can manipulate the CEM config to enable it, and you will also need your CEM pin which can be brute forced using one of such 3rd party tools.

It does however I thought that the feature would rely on GPS and the latest database. Speed limits change, especially in Wales.

The camera reads roadsigns. I can confirm it misses a lot of the 20mph signs that have been doctored here in Wales. Along with some that have been intentionally changed to entertainingly higher limits.
