Default 440 MOT Fail - Grantham Lincs

HI

My P reg Volvo440 just failed the MOT. Needs welding in various places (sills and bulkhead), wheel arches are a mess. Generally quite tatty.

Its a basic model, I think its a 1.6l, faded Red.

It has been a reliable runner,
It has a tow bar.

Anybody want it or any bits?

Do you have the headlight wipers (arms and blades?)

Yes.

The arms appear to be complete and in good condition. The blades look to be intact, but I can't be sure about the condition of the rubber.

One of us can help to talk you through it if needed.

As to the headlamp wipers, if the arms are there I would be happy to have them, blades aren't a big problem.

Do you have a cassette holder below the stereo/heater controls? If so, I would like this please.

If you have, I'm in need of clutch/brake pedal rubbers. I could also do with the little bit of trim on the drivers door inside, has SRS on it and screws the card to the door. These I could do with now.
But, if you do break the car, at the very end, if in good condition, I would also like the steering wheel (black) as the top of mine twists round the internal metal frame ... not sure if that may end up as being a reason to fail an mot
thanks

Aaron440 not to worry about the rear numberplate lights. Managed to fix mine with a bit of lateral thinking.
