XC60 Gear Knob

Hi all,

I recently purchased a XC60 R Design LUX NAV D4 2.4L 2016. I am very happy with it so far but the aesthetics of the current gear knob just doesn't do it for me, especially after seeing so many other XC60 R Designs with a different, much better looking version.

This what I currently have:


This is the version I see in others, and want!


Now some people have told me I can use the Volvo V40 version, others have said the V60. I have found a V40 version from a breaking 2017 V40 R Design.

Does anybody know if I can fit the V40 version to my XC60? Will it need some modification? The V40 one I found also has a cable which I presume is for illumination.

Well I know that if I had nothing more important to be bothered by than the aesthetic qualities of my gear knob I'd be extremely grateful. If it bothers you that much why not just buy the replacement and try it?

Oh yes don’t get me wrong I’m very grateful. Absolutely love the car it’s amazing.

Once I seen this gear knob in other XC60’s I just preferred the look of it as it matches the rest of the inside so much better.

I was just wondering if anyone else here had it, and if it would fit ok as there are quite a few to choose from such as from the V40, S60 etc and different years. I want to make sure I buy the correct one
