Before i get shot/flamed/banned/laughed out/deported, i did use the search (but i am a computer biff.......)
Lowering 40mm with a set of factory 15" Virgos, what size tyre is best to go for ? Every thread i have come across has every wheel/tyre combo except mine! I guess regardless of height, width will affect steering even with PAS. Dont want to affect gearing too much TBH as performance will never set the world on fire anyway. I like this http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=203164 ideas? |

Just about all of our 240's are lowered and manyof them run on the Virgo wheels with 205/60/15 tyres fitted with no clearance issues at all. You could go a little wider but that tyre combo works well

Bridgestone Potenza RE002's I'd recommend. Solid good tyre, great on the road. Dad's got a set on the Ford and they're brilliant. Tempted to put a set on when I get the 240 a set of 16" steels.
