Utter fanny
Hey guys,
Looking for some advice as I have been an utter fanny. I changed my gearbox oil recently and I had a workshop manual for a Volvo C30 T5. I have a C30 D2. The manual suggested that to extract the gearbox oil you set up a tube and run the engine to let the gearbox push out the gearbox oil. I done this with my Mass Air Flow sensor disconnected and the engine ran rough a bit so I stopped the engine. After swapping out the oil with a syringe I put it all back together. After the engine was running rough so I popped a OBD2 diag tool to see if any errors were throwing up. It initially came up with the mass air flow sensor error but it also comes up with a manifold error P0069 that won't clear. I'm a bit stuck with what do to next because she was running perfectly before I under took the work. My friend suggests I may need to clean my lambda sensor but I know that's a tricky job so I thought I'd get someone else's input in case I just need a more sophisticated tool to clear an error or maybe have to recompress my engine. All input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced. Fanny |

Hi Dave,
Think you might have got a better response posting your query in the C30 section rather than the Events and Meetings thread. Perhaps repost and fellow owners migh5 be able to assist Cheers Steve |

It will obviously give a EML code and put the EML light on, but if you have a code reader this will usually delete the code and turn off the EML once you know if lambda is at fault. |
